Rama Enterprises

Our place, Rama Enterprises, is located at House Number 107 on Street Number 14 in Ashok Vihar. We are right opposite Sector 5 in Gurgaon. Since we are in a residential-style building, it’s a bit different from the big glass offices you see in the rest of Gurgaon. It’s more quiet here, which I like. We mostly deal with supplies and logistics, so there are always boxes coming in and out. The front room is where we keep the computer and the main desk, and the rest of the space is used for storage. I’ve seen Gurgaon change so much over the years, but this little corner of Ashok Vihar stays mostly the same. My day starts with checking the delivery schedule and seeing what needs to go out first. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure things get to where they are supposed to be. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding the street because the signs aren't great, so I end up standing outside to wave them down. It’s just a normal small business. We don't have fancy mission statements on the walls. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to get through the day without too many hiccups. It’s a simple operation run by real people.
