Our office for Quest V C Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Mayur Vihar Phase I, specifically at 68H in Pocket 4. It’s a quiet enough corner of Delhi compared to some of the main markets. We deal with venture capital stuff, which mostly means looking at different business ideas and seeing where the money should go. It’s a lot of meetings and looking at numbers on spreadsheets. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees; we’re a smaller group that likes to keep things simple. The office reflects that. It’s got everything we need to work, but it’s not meant to impress anyone with expensive furniture. We focus more on the conversations we have with people who have new ideas. Mayur Vihar is a nice place to be based because it feels more like a community. We see the same neighbors every day when we walk to get lunch. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it like everyone else. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a bunch of slogans on the wall. We just look at the projects that come our way and try to make sensible decisions. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, and then a bit of paperwork to make it all official. It’s just how we operate day to day and keep things moving.
