Priyas Kitchen

Our kitchen is up on the second floor of A-10/100 in DLF Phase 1. It is a busy little spot in Gurgaon where there is always something cooking on the stove. We spend a lot of time preparing meals and the smell of spices usually fills the whole floor. Being on the second floor means we are constantly carrying supplies up and down the stairs. It keeps us on our toes for sure. The kitchen area is not huge, but we have everything in its place so we can move fast when orders start coming in. We handle a lot of the cooking ourselves and we don't really have a big corporate setup. It is more about the daily routine of chopping vegetables, stirring pots, and packing things up. Sometimes the heat in the kitchen gets a bit much, especially during the summer months in Gurgaon, but we just get on with it. We see a lot of delivery people coming through the doors throughout the day. DLF Phase 1 is a pretty active area, so there is always noise from the street below. We just try to keep our heads down and focus on the food. It is honest work and we have been doing it from this same spot for a while now. Nothing too complicated, just a kitchen where we try to make sure every meal is done right before it leaves the door.
