We are located at 13 Subzi Mandi, right in the heart of Sadar Bazaar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar, you know it’s probably the busiest place in the city. We’ve been here for a long time, and the business has stayed in the family. Our shop is surrounded by the smell of vegetables and the sound of people shouting their prices. We have to get here very early in the morning before the sun is even up to get things moving. It’s a lot of physical work, moving crates and talking to suppliers. The floor is old stone and the ceiling is high, which helps a bit with the heat. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things; we just do business face-to-face like we always have. Sometimes the crowds get so thick that it takes twenty minutes just to walk to the end of the block. We drink a lot of water and try to stay out of the direct sun when we can. Our regulars know exactly where to find us among the hundreds of other stalls. We don't spend money on decorations because we need every inch of space for our goods. It’s a bit chaotic, but there’s a rhythm to it that you learn over the years. We just keep doing what we do every single day without making a big fuss about it.
