Over in Mohan Pur, life moves at a bit of a slower pace until the cement trucks arrive from Kotputli. We are situated in the Nangal Choudhary area of Narnaul, right here in the Mahandergarh district. It’s mostly farmland and small villages around us, so the people we see are usually building cattle sheds or small house extensions. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and brochures. Most of the time, we’re out in the yard with our sleeves rolled up, helping load a trolley or a small pickup. The dust in Haryana can be thick, especially in the summer, and we’re right in the middle of it. We take the supply that comes from the Jaipur side and make sure it gets to the local builders who need it. It’s not a complicated setup. We have the shed, we have the bags, and we have a phone that rings quite a bit. Sometimes the language is a bit rough and the jokes are old, but that’s just how it is working in a village depot. We know the local weather and the local roads like the back of our hands. If someone needs help figuring out how many bags go into a slab, we give them a rough idea based on what we’ve seen people do around here. It’s just about being useful and keeping the business going one day at a time, making sure the inventory matches the books.
