Philips Electronics India Ltd Lighting Division

Our office for the Philips Electronics India Ltd Lighting Division is located in Ashoka Enclave 2, right in Sector 37 of Faridabad. We are on the second floor of the B 22 building. It is mostly a residential area, so it is a bit quieter than being right on the main commercial roads. The property is associated with Dr. CK Singh, which is how most people find the gate. Since we handle the lighting side of things, you might expect more fancy lamps around, but it is mostly just a regular workspace with standard overhead lights and lots of paperwork. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so moving large boxes in and out can be a bit of a struggle for us. We have a small team here and we all know each other’s lunch habits by now. The neighborhood is okay, with a few small parks nearby where we sometimes walk if the weather isn't too dusty. Electricity can be a bit patchy in this part of Haryana during the peak of summer, so we have a backup system that kicks in. It is not the most modern building in the world, but it stays cool enough and the windows let in a fair amount of light during the day. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. It is a humble place to work. We just focus on our tasks and try to stay organized.
