Public Soft Corporation India is located at K-113 on the 1st Floor of the Commercial Complex in Palam Vihar. It’s a busy building with a lot of different shops and offices, so there’s always people walking up and down the halls. Our office is tucked away on the first floor. It’s got a few rooms where we handle all the software stuff we do. The windows look out over the parking lot, which is usually full. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have any of those modern office features like bean bags or ping pong tables. We just have sturdy desks and chairs that have been around for a while. Usually, someone brings in snacks to share, and that’s about as fancy as it gets. We spend our time writing programs and making sure everything runs without crashing. It’s repetitive work but we’re good at it. Sometimes the internet slows down and we all have to take a break until it comes back, which is when we usually catch up on news. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have big corporate meetings; we just shout questions over the partitions. It’s a simple way to work and it seems to fit us just fine. Most days we are out of here by six, unless there is a bug we can't find.
