This branch of our work is located in Gurgaon at Devinder Vihar, Sector 56. The house number is H 4047. If you know Haryana, you know Sector 56 is a mix of residential and small business pockets. It’s a lot different than the high-rise glass buildings you see in the rest of Gurgaon. Here, it feels a bit more like a home that turned into an office. We have our desks set up in what used to be living spaces. It makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed, even when we are busy with cooling tower engineering and site plans. The area is quite green for Gurgaon, which is a relief. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes if a neighbor is having a party. We mostly keep to ourselves and get through the mountain of emails we get every morning. The zip code is 122002. Sometimes we sit out on the small balcony during lunch just to get some air. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters. It’s a functional space where real work happens. We have plenty of files stored away and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, except when the local dogs start barking in the afternoon. We like it here because it feels human. The commute is much better than heading into the main city traffic every morning. It’s a solid place to work.
