Not Working Currently

Sushant Lok Phase 1 is one of those places in Gurgaon where everything is constantly changing, but A 949 stays pretty much the same. We call ourselves Not Working Currently. It’s just us in this spot. The house is a bit older than the big glass buildings you see further down the road toward the mall. There’s a bit of a garden out front, though it’s mostly just some dry grass and a few pots that we forget to water sometimes. Gurgaon gets incredibly dusty, so we are always wiping down the tables. It feels like a losing battle most days. Inside A 949, it’s mostly quiet. We have a few rooms set up for different things. The light comes in through the side window in the afternoon and makes it hard to see the screens, so we have these thick curtains that don't quite match. People in Sushant Lok are always in a rush, but we try not to be. We have been at this address for a good bit now. It’s a decent place to be if you want to be near the action but not right in the middle of it. We don't have a big reception or anyone to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us sitting at the back. It’s practical and it serves the purpose we need it to. We just handle the work as it comes in and keep our heads down while the city rushes past.
