Mckinsey Knowledge Centre

Mckinsey Knowledge Centre is located at 113 3C2 in the Silver Oaks Apartments. Being inside a residential complex in DLF Phase I makes for a different kind of workday. It’s in Gurgaon, but it doesn't feel like those glass-and-steel offices you see nearby. It’s much more tucked away. Most of the people living in the apartments probably don't even realize there's an office running here. We have a few rooms set up with computers and some basic office furniture. It feels a bit like a home that turned into a workplace over time. The walk from the parking area is nice because of the trees in the complex. Sometimes the security at the gate asks a lot of questions, which can be annoying for visitors, but we’re used to it. The space inside is a bit tight, especially when everyone is in at the same time. We usually have the curtains drawn to keep the sun out during the afternoon. There is a small balcony where some of us go to get some air. It’s not a place for big corporate events or anything. It is just where we handle our daily data tasks and research. The walls are plain, and the carpet is starting to show some wear and tear, but it serves its purpose. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to do our jobs well. It’s just a quiet spot for a small team.
