Mckinsey Company is located in Gurgaon at Q7 2, on the first floor in DLF City Phase II. This area is known for being quite developed, but our office stays pretty grounded. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and it’s a convenient place for everyone to get to. The first floor is just a short walk up the stairs. We have a modest setup here. It’s mostly open-plan, with desks pushed together and wires running along the floor in a few places. We aren't too bothered by the little imperfections like the squeaky door or the mismatched chairs. The important thing is that the work gets handled properly. Outside, Gurgaon is always changing with new buildings going up, but our little corner feels familiar. We have a small balcony where we keep a few potted plants, though they could probably use more water than they get. The office can get a bit noisy when everyone is on the phone at once, but we’re used to the chatter. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up from our desk to see what they need. We appreciate being in DLF Phase II because of the amenities nearby, even if the traffic on the main roads can be a nightmare at five o'clock. It’s a functional space where we just get on with our jobs every day without fuss.
