Manpower

We run this Manpower branch out of House No 6 9 in Shivaji Nagar, Gurgaon. It’s actually at Mr. RD Verma’s place. It feels more like a home than a cold office building. We like it that way because it’s less stressful for people coming in. Gurgaon can be a very corporate, intimidating place, but Shivaji Nagar is a bit more grounded. We handle a lot of local hiring. Most of the day is spent checking IDs and filling out forms. We sit around a big table and go through applications. There’s usually a pot of tea going. We don't have any fancy software to do the work for us. It’s all manual. We talk to the candidates face to face. We want to know if they are reliable. We’ve had some people work with us for years. It’s a lot of small-scale management. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat. It’s that kind of atmosphere. We don’t wear uniforms or anything. Just casual clothes. We try to keep things moving so people don’t have to wait too long. The office is small, but we make it work. It’s just a regular local business trying to make things happen in a big city. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just do the work day by day and try to keep everyone happy with their placements.
