Madhyapradesh Flying Club

Our office for the Madhyapradesh Flying Club is actually located in Gurgaon, at Jalvayu Towers. It’s in unit C 713 of the Chomalehri block. It might seem a bit odd to have a flying club office in a residential tower complex, but it works for what we do. The towers are quite tall, and the view from the seventh floor lets us see a good chunk of the Gurgaon skyline, which is always changing. The office itself is pretty small. We have some maps on the walls and a lot of logbooks stacked on the shelves. It’s not a place where we keep planes, obviously, but it’s where all the paperwork and planning happens. The elevator in the building is sometimes a bit slow, so we end up waiting around in the lobby talking to the neighbors. It’s a very residential vibe, so we try to keep the noise down so we don't bother the people living next door. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of people handling the phones and the schedules. The furniture is a bit mismatched, mostly stuff we’ve gathered over the years. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but the building is well-known in the area, so it’s easy to give directions. It’s just a practical spot for us to keep things organized without the high cost of a downtown office. It's been our home base in Gurgaon 122002 for a long time.
