Leighton India Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of Leighton Holdings Ltd, and our office is located at 601 Amber Court in Gurgaon, Haryana. We are in the third block of the complex. This part of Gurgaon is quite spread out, so you definitely need a car or a rickshaw to get around. The office is a decent size, but we have filled it up with a lot of desks and equipment over the years. It feels like a busy workplace because there is always some discussion going on about a project or a budget. We have a lot of maps and charts pinned to the walls, which makes the place look a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The building itself is one of those typical Gurgaon office blocks—lots of glass and concrete. We’ve been here for a while, so we know the guys at the tea stall downstairs pretty well. The work we do involves a lot of coordination between different departments, so there is a lot of walking back and forth between desks. It’s not a quiet office by any means. There’s always the sound of printers or people talking. We don't really go for the polished corporate look. We just want a functional space where we can get our planning done. It’s a practical environment for people who are used to being on construction sites.
