Lawn Mower

We’ve been at Palam Vyapar Kendra for a while now, up on the second floor. It’s not the biggest place but we keep it busy with all sorts of mowers and garden tools. Most people find us because they need a part replaced or their old machine just won't start after sitting in the shed all winter. We spend most days fixing blades and looking at engines that have seen better days. It gets pretty loud in here sometimes when we’re testing things out. Gurgaon has a lot of green patches in the residential areas so there is always someone coming in with a grass cutter that needs help. We don't really do much fancy talk, we just look at the machine and tell you what’s wrong with it. Usually, it's just dirt in the fuel line or a spark plug that’s gone bad. The shop is tucked away in C-69, so you have to walk up the stairs. It’s mostly just us surrounded by metal parts and oil cans. We know the regulars by name and they know we aren't going to give them a long speech about garden care. If it cuts grass, we probably know how to handle it. The weather around here makes the grass grow fast when it rains, so that's usually our busiest time. We just stay here, do the work, and hope the machines keep running until the next season rolls around.
