Kapoor Mobile Centre

Kapoor Mobile Centre is right on the main Alwar Road in Sohna. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks and buses passing by. I spend most of my day behind the counter. We have a lot of mobile phones on display in the glass boxes, mostly the stuff people use every day. We also do a lot of repairs. People come in with phones that have been dropped on the pavement or got wet in the rain. It’s tricky work, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the common problems. The shop gets quite hot in the summer because the sun hits the front, but we have an old fan that keeps things moving. We keep a lot of chargers and earphones in cardboard boxes under the counter. It’s not a huge place, so we have to use every inch of space we have. Sometimes we have a few people waiting, so they just stand around and chat with each other. It’s a local spot where people feel comfortable stopping by for a bit. We don't have a big corporate team, just a couple of us who know about phones. We've seen the road change a lot over the years, but our shop has stayed pretty much the same. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, helping people with their tech.
