Jain Mobiles Gallery is right on Gurudwara Road at number 201, which is a very busy part of Gurgaon. You can hear the sounds from the Gurudwara nearby and the constant noise of cars and rickshaws outside our door. The shop is always a bit crowded because we have a lot of stuff packed into a small space. We have glass counters filled with different mobile phones and accessories. Most of my day is spent putting on screen guards or explaining how a certain phone works to someone who isn't sure. My fingers are usually a bit sticky from the tape we use for the boxes. We don't have a lot of room to move around behind the counter, so we have to be careful not to knock things over when we are reaching for a charger. In the evening, the street gets even more crowded and the lights from the other shops come on. We stay open until late most nights because that is when people are out shopping after their work shifts. We have a small stool in the corner where we take turns sitting down for a few minutes to rest our feet. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We don't have a fancy dress code or anything like that. I usually just wear a plain shirt and jeans. We focus on getting the repairs done and helping the customers who come in from the road. It is just a regular mobile shop in a busy part of town where we work every day.
