Our place is located at C 1 17 in DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon. If you know Haryana at all, you know this part of town has changed a lot over the years. It used to be much quieter, but now there are cars everywhere and a lot of energy. We run Iisc Promotions Alliances Pvt Ltd from this spot. It is a brick-and-mortar office, nothing like those glass towers you see over in Cyber City. We like it here because it feels more grounded. The office is usually a bit messy with papers and files because we are always juggling different projects. We handle a lot of the alliance work and promotional stuff right from these desks. There is a tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the screens. The internet sometimes cuts out when it rains hard, which is just part of living in Gurgaon I guess. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look like a big multinational. It is just us working through our tasks and talking to partners. Sometimes the power goes out and the generator kicks in with a loud hum. We’ve gotten used to it. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done for the company. It’s a practical space for practical work, and we don't really need much more than that to get through the day.
