We are based at C1C 101 in Carlton Estate 1 over in DLF V. Gurgaon has changed a lot lately but this area still feels like the center of everything. Being in a place like Carlton Estate means we have a lot of neighbors who are also busy with their own work and lives. Ibm India Pvt Ltd uses this space as a hub for our daily operations and it gets the job done. It is a modern building but our office is pretty lived-in and comfortable. We have papers on the desks and the coffee machine is definitely the most popular thing in the room during the morning hours. The view from the windows is mostly of other tall buildings and the hazy Gurgaon sky. We do not spend much time looking out though because there is always a lot to do. We are not interested in making things look perfect for visitors because we do not get many people stopping by anyway. We are just a group of people trying to stay on top of our technical responsibilities. The elevators can be a bit slow in the mornings so we have all learned to be a little patient. It is a fast-paced environment outside but inside we try to keep a steady rhythm. We just do our jobs and try to stay out of the way of the big corporate machines. It works for us.
