Hughes Communication India Ltd

Hughes Communication India Ltd is set up at Plot No.1, Sector 18, right in Electronics City. Being in Electronics City means we are surrounded by a lot of other tech companies, which makes sense for what we do. We deal with communication technology, so there’s a lot of hardware and software stuff happening in our office. It’s not a very quiet place, as there’s always someone testing something or a piece of equipment humming in the corner. We spend a lot of time looking at signal strengths and network layouts. The building itself is pretty large and it takes a bit of time to get from the gate to our specific area. We have a decent sized crew here. We aren't big on corporate retreats or anything like that; we mostly just focus on the technical problems that pop up every day. Sector 18 is a bit of a maze if you don’t know it well, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like our backyard. We deal with a lot of data and making sure connections stay up. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The work is technical and requires a lot of focus, so we try to keep distractions to a minimum. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things right and keep the networks running like they should.
