Hewitt Associates

Our office for Hewitt Associates is located at 1404 Tower 1 in The Palms, which is in South City I, Gurgaon. Being up on the fourteenth floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators, but the view of the city makes up for it sometimes. South City I is a busy area, but once you get inside the tower, things quiet down quite a bit. The office isn’t huge, but we’ve managed to fit all our equipment and desks in a way that makes sense. It feels a bit like a home office that grew too big for a spare bedroom. We have some plants by the window that we try to keep alive, though some are doing better than others. It is a professional enough environment, but we don't bother with all the corporate jargon or stiff rules. We mostly just focus on our daily tasks and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Lunchtime usually involves someone ordering something for the whole group or heading down to the local spots nearby. The traffic on the way into Gurgaon can be a nightmare on Mondays, so we usually have a lot to talk about when we finally arrive. It is a steady, reliable place to work. We don't have any flashy slogans on the walls, just a calendar and some notes pinned up.
