Hewitt Associates

Our office is at House No 504 on Sheetla Mata Road in Sector 5, Gurgaon. It is a bit of a different vibe than the big glass towers you see in other parts of the city. Being in a house makes it feel a lot more personal. We have different rooms for different tasks, and it almost feels like working from home, but with more colleagues around. The road outside is always busy with people going to the temple or commuting to work. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long, which is actually kind of nice compared to a silent office. We work for Hewitt Associates here, mostly dealing with the daily grind of data and client requests. We don’t have any polished corporate speeches or anything like that. We just sit at our desks, do our hours, and try to help each other out when someone gets stuck. The kitchen is small, so we usually take turns eating lunch. It is a very grounded place to work. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations; we’d rather just have good computers and a decent place to sit. There is a small yard outside where some of us go to take phone calls or just get a bit of sun during the winter. It’s a simple, honest setup. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just provide a service and try to be good neighbors. It's homey and quiet enough.
