It feels more established and a bit more lived-in. Our office is basically a house that we’ve converted into a working space. It gives the whole place a very different vibe than a standard cubicle farm. We have a small garden area out front where we sometimes take our breaks, which is a nice change from staring at a screen all day. Inside, we’ve used the different rooms for different tasks. It’s not the most efficient layout in the world, but we like the character of the place. We don't have a big HR department or a dedicated cleaning crew; we mostly just look after the place ourselves. It’s a very hands-on way to run a business. We started here because the rent was reasonable and it was in a neighborhood we actually liked. Since then, we’ve just stayed put. We don't feel the need to move to a fancy glass building just to prove we are doing well. Our work speaks for itself, and our clients know where to find us. It’s a comfortable spot where we can focus on the details without the noise of a massive corporate office. We just show up every morning, make some coffee, and get to it.
