Out here in Vpokhaleta, in the Rewari district of Haryana, things are a bit quieter than in the big cities. Our branch is a small, practical building that serves the local village and the surrounding Tehsil. Most of the people who come through our doors are farmers or folks running small shops nearby. We talk a lot about the weather and the crops while we’re handling their deposits or withdrawals. The office is pretty basic. We don't have fancy decorations or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place to do business. We spend a lot of time explaining things in simple terms because not everyone is comfortable with the digital side of banking yet. There’s a lot of trust involved when you’re working in a place like this. People know us, and we know them. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can get the computers back online. It’s just part of the daily routine. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about what’s happening in the village. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping the community manage their savings and get their work done. We’re just a small team of people working in a quiet corner of Haryana, doing what needs to be done every single day.
