Group M India Pvt Ltd is based in House No 222 in Sector 14 Gurgaon. It’s a residential area but many houses have been turned into offices over the years. We like it here because it feels less like a cold office building and more like a proper place to work. There is a small yard in front where we sometimes take our breaks. Inside, it’s all set up with computers and desks for the staff. Gurgaon can be a very fast place with all the big towers, but Sector 14 has a bit more of an older feel to it. We handle a lot of media and data work from these rooms. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear when someone is having a meeting in the next room. We don't have a big shiny lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. You just walk in and find whoever you’re looking for. It’s a very hands-on environment. Most of the people working here have been with us for a good amount of time. We deal with lots of spreadsheets and phone calls throughout the day. The parking on the street can be a bit of a mess in the afternoons, but we manage. We’re just a group of people trying to do our jobs well without making a big fuss about it. It’s a quiet spot for serious work and we just get on with things every morning.
