Genpact

Our workplace is at E7032 in Palam Vihar, specifically the area known as Devider Vihar in Gurgaon. It’s an interesting part of town because it feels a bit different from the massive skyscrapers you usually associate with Gurgaon. Our spot is more contained and feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We spend most of our daylight hours here, working through whatever needs to be handled that day. The office itself isn't anything you’d see in a magazine; it’s just a practical space with desks and chairs and maybe a few too many cables running along the floor. We’ve got a small team, and we all know each other pretty well by now. There’s a routine we follow, starting with morning tea and ending when the sun goes down. People around here are generally friendly, and we see the same folks walking their dogs or going to the shops nearby. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just have everything we need to work comfortably. The walls are a bit plain, and the furniture has seen better days, but it’s our space. We handle our tasks, help each other out when things get a bit hectic, and then we head home. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the work week. We don't try to be something we’re not, we just stay focused on the work at hand in Devider Vihar.
