Genpact

We are based in South City Heights, inside the Retreat Complex in South City Phase I, Gurgaon. It’s a big residential and commercial mix, and our office is at unit 704. Being up high means we get a decent look at the Gurgaon skyline, which is mostly just more buildings and construction cranes these days. This Genpact office is a bit of a trek from the main gate, so we usually have to walk a fair bit after getting off the bus or out of the car. The complex is quite large and can be confusing for visitors who haven't been here before. Inside, it’s just a standard office floor with a lot of cubicles and whiteboards that are mostly covered in scribbles and old notes. The lighting is that bright office kind that takes some getting used to in the morning. We have a small coffee machine that breaks down once a week, so we end up going to the shop in the basement instead. The elevators are usually packed during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to arrive either very early or just on time. It’s a busy atmosphere with a lot of talking and typing going on all at once. The winter months are nice because the view gets all misty, but the summer is just bright and hot. We don't have any fancy lounge areas, just our desks and a small table for lunch.
