Genpact India

At Hno 3764 Sai Sadan in Sector 23 Palam Vihar, we run this Genpact India office. Being in Gurgaon, you would expect a big skyscraper, but we are actually in a more suburban-feeling house setup. Sai Sadan is a sturdy building and it serves us well for our daily operations. We have several rooms turned into workstations where we manage different accounts and projects. It feels a bit like working from home, but with all your colleagues around you. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is a nice change from the rest of Gurgaon's madness. We have a small area out front where we park our scooters and bikes. The routine here is pretty much the same every day. We log in, check the emails, and start working through the queue. We don't have a big management team watching over our shoulders every second. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the water cooler runs out or we have to wait for the technician to fix a light, but that is just part of being in an office like this. We bring our own lunches and sit together in the small break area to talk about the latest cricket scores or movies. It is a very normal, low-key place to work. There are no big speeches or fancy events, just us doing our jobs in Palam Vihar.
