Flavours

Flavours is located at 64/39 in the U Block of DLF Phase 3. If you’ve ever been to U Block, you know it’s packed. It’s full of young professionals and students living in PGs, so the energy is always high. Our place is right in the middle of all that. It’s a small spot, and the kitchen takes up most of the space. We start our day by getting the spices ready and chopping whatever needs chopping. The smell of frying onions and garlic usually fills the air by late morning. We don't have a fancy dining area. Most people just grab their food and go, or order it to be sent to their rooms nearby. It’s a fast-paced environment. Sometimes the phone rings non-stop and we have to juggle three things at once. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just know how the food should taste. Sometimes the stove acts up or a delivery guy gets lost in the narrow lanes of U Block, but we figure it out. It’s a local business, run by people who live nearby. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make a decent meal that doesn't cost too much. You’ll see us there every day, probably looking a bit tired but still keeping the orders moving. It’s just how life is in this part of Gurgaon for us.
