Eureka Forbess

We have been here in Sukhrali for a while now. The area is always busy, especially being near Mehrauli. Our place, Eureka Forbess, isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular shop where we keep our tools and spare parts. Most days start early before the traffic on the main road gets too loud. We usually have tea together while checking the schedule for the day. Sukhrali has changed a lot over the years, with more buildings coming up, but we still see the same familiar faces walking by. It gets dusty in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just sit outside for a bit. People stop by to ask questions about their machines or just to say hello. We don't have a big front office or a reception area with air conditioning. It’s mostly just us working with our hands. Usually, there are boxes stacked near the door and the phone rings quite a bit. It’s a simple way of working. We know the shortcuts around Mehrauli to get to jobs faster. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk. That’s just how it goes here. Most of the neighbors know us by name now. We just focus on getting the work done and heading home when the sun goes down. It’s a local spot for local needs.
