Ernst Young

You can find us over at 1669 C Block in Sushant Lok Phase 1. It is a residential part of Gurgaon that has changed a lot over the years. Our Ernst Young office is basically a converted house, so it feels more comfortable than a glass tower. There is a small patch of grass out front that we try to keep green, though the dust makes it hard. Inside, the rooms are used for different parts of the work. We keep the files in what used to be a bedroom. It is a quiet street for the most part, except when the school buses go by in the morning. We do not have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and someone will likely be sitting there on a laptop. We spend most of the day on calls or typing away. It is a decent place to spend eight or nine hours. The power goes out occasionally, but we have a backup that kicks in so we do not lose our work. We mostly keep to ourselves and get the jobs done that come through the door. Sometimes we order food from the nearby Galleria market if we are staying late. It is a straightforward setup with no frills. We like it because it is easy to get to and far enough from the highway noise. The furniture is a mix of stuff we have collected over time, which makes it feel real and lived in.
