Sushant Lok Phase 1 is a busy spot in Gurgaon, and our office is in the Ansal Sushant Estate, specifically Flat No 1404 in T1. Being up on the 14th floor gives us a pretty wide view of the Gurgaon skyline, which is always changing with new buildings going up all the time. Ernst Young has a team here that stays pretty busy with the daily grind of office life. The elevators can be a bit slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to be patient and leave a bit early. Inside, the office is set up for efficiency. We have our rows of desks and the usual office supplies scattered around. It’s a bit of a trek from the ground, so once we are up here, we usually stay put until the end of the day. The air conditioning is a lifesaver during the Gurgaon summers when the heat is just bouncing off the pavement below. We have a lot of digital work to do, but there is still plenty of physical filing that needs attention from time to time. We don't really go in for the whole corporate culture thing in a big way; we just prefer to get our tasks finished so we can beat the evening traffic on the way home. There’s a lot of noise from construction nearby, but you get used to it. We usually grab some tea from the stall downstairs before heading up.
