Down at P 3C 92 in Princeton Estate is where we work. This is a big residential complex, so the Ernst Young office feels very much a part of the local community. Gurgaon is known for its high-rises and malls, but being inside an estate like this makes our workday feel a bit more relaxed. We have a small team here, and we’ve been at this spot for a few years. The office is basically a converted apartment space, which is pretty common around here. It’s got a kitchen where we make coffee and a couple of rooms where we set up our workstations. The security at the gate can be a bit strict about visitors, so we always tell people to give us a call when they arrive. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that—just functional tables and chairs. The view from the window is mostly other buildings in the estate. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It’s not exciting work, but it’s what we do. Sometimes we all go down to the local market for lunch just to get some fresh air. It’s a decent place to work, and we get along well with the neighbors. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we’re here in the estate. The parking is usually okay as long as you use the visitor slots. It keeps life simple for everyone involved.
