Our place is over at House No 2300 in Sector 15. If you know Sonipat, you know this part of Haryana gets quite dusty in the summer months. Being based in a house makes things feel a lot more personal for us here at Emergent Ventures India Pvt Ltd. We don’t have those big glass walls like the offices in the city. Instead, we have a regular door and a little bit of space where we keep our supplies and our desks. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s pretty quiet except for when the kids are coming home from school in the afternoon. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the way the light hits the front room. We usually have the fan going full blast because it gets really warm in the middle of the day. It’s just a small team here. We don’t spend much time on fancy stuff. Most of our day is spent at our desks just getting through the pile of things we need to finish before the weekend. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local community here in 130011. There isn't a lot of drama or noise. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun goes down. It is just a regular spot for us.
