Emergent Ventures India Private Limited

We’ve been here at Plot No 46 for a while now. The first floor gets a lot of light in the mornings, which is nice when we first get in. Gurgaon has changed so much since we started, but this little corner of Haryana stays pretty much the same. Most days it’s just us doing our thing, drinking tea and trying to keep up with the paperwork. The stairs are a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, a few old computers, and a lot of files. Emergent Ventures India Private Limited is what’s on the door, but to the neighbors, we’re just the folks on the first floor. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets loud, but we close the windows and it’s fine. It isn't a big flashy operation. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. Sometimes we order lunch from the place down the street when nobody feels like bringing a tiffin. It’s a quiet spot for the most part. We like it that way because it lets us focus on what's on our desks. There is always something to do, whether it’s answering the phone or sorting out the mail that comes to 122 001. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a regular office where real people work every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow around us, but we just keep doing what we do.
