We operate out of Gurgaon, and Dlf Services Ltd. has been around this area for quite some time. Gurgaon is a massive place that’s always changing, but we’ve managed to find our own rhythm here. Our office isn't tucked away in one of those huge glass towers; it’s a more modest setup where we can actually focus on the daily stuff. We spend our days handling various service requests and keeping track of a lot of moving parts. It’s not always pretty work. There’s a lot of scheduling and checking in on things that most people wouldn’t think about. We have a small group of staff who have been through the ups and downs of the city’s growth. We don't spend much money on fancy furniture or decorations. We’d rather just have good computers and a reliable kettle for tea. The traffic in Gurgaon is something we have to plan our whole lives around, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone telling us how to sound professional. We just talk to people like we’re talking to our neighbors. It’s a very practical approach to business. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when everything seems to happen at once. But we just take it one task at a time and keep going. That’s just the way things are done in our office every day without any fuss.
