Deloitte

Our spot is at 149 Police Lines in Gurgaon. It is a very specific part of town. Everyone around here knows where the Police Lines are. The address is 122001. We go by the name Deloitte. The building is pretty straightforward. It is not one of those massive glass towers you see in the newer parts of Haryana. It is more grounded. We have our desks set up and the coffee is usually brewing by eight. The street outside can get a bit crowded with cars and bikes. You have to be careful where you park. Inside, it is just a bunch of us working. We don't have a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and we are there. Sometimes we talk about the weather or the commute. Gurgaon traffic is always a topic. At 149 Police Lines, we have everything we need. It is a practical space for Deloitte. We like the local shops nearby for lunch. It is an honest day's work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just do it. The walls are a bit plain, but they do the job. We have some plants by the window, though they need more water than they get. Being in this part of Haryana feels right. It is just a regular place for regular people. We keep the files in some old metal cabinets that squeak a bit. When the sun goes down, the street lights outside flicker on and it’s time for us to head home. It is a good rhythm to have here.
