Csc

Down here in Sector 21, Gurgaon, at house number 1463, we’ve turned a small part of the space into a Csc. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, so it’s a bit different from the big commercial hubs. People from the nearby blocks come over when they have something that needs printing or if they need to apply for a certificate online. We started this because we saw a lot of older folks struggling with their smartphones and computers. We aren't doing anything flashy. It is just a desk, a few laptops, and a reliable printer. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the equipment works fine. We spend most of our day explaining how the new online systems work. It takes patience, but we’ve got plenty of that. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the street, but other days everyone seems to need something at the exact same time. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and we see what you need. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve lived in Gurgaon for years, so we know how it is. It’s just about being helpful and making sure the local community has a place to get their digital tasks sorted out without having to travel too far or pay too much. We hope to stay here for a long time.
