Corporate Leadership Council

Our place is over in Gurgaon, at A 203 in the Huda Housing Society, Plot No 1. Being inside a housing society makes Corporate Leadership Council feel a bit more relaxed than the big glass buildings you see in the rest of Haryana. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, though you can hear kids playing outside in the evenings. Our office is basically a few rooms where we sit and plan out our schedules. We do a lot of talking and organizing here. The furniture is pretty basic—just some tables and chairs that we move around depending on what we are doing that day. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and there is usually a box of biscuits sitting on the counter. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment. We prefer to keep things simple and honest. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in this area, so we keep some rechargeable lights around. Most of us live nearby, so we don't have to deal with the worst of the Gurgaon traffic every morning. We spend our time thinking about how to help people work better together. It’s a lot of reading and planning on the computer. We don’t have a receptionist, so if someone knocks on the door, whoever is closest just gets up to answer it. It’s just a normal office where we do our thing.
