Copal Partners

We are located at House 145 in Defence Estate Phase I, near Bundu Katra in Agra. Copal Partners is basically just a few of us working out of this house. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s not as frantic as the main market parts of Agra. Bundu Katra is a well-known landmark around here, so most people don't have too much trouble finding the street. The office is set up in a few rooms of the house. We have the usual stuff, some desks, chairs that have seen better days, and a few filing cabinets tucked into the corners. The walls are a light cream color, and we have a ceiling fan that clicks on the medium setting. It’s a very grounded way to work. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like children playing or someone selling vegetables from a cart outside. We spend our day going through files and talking about the various tasks we have on hand. It’s a partnership, so we do a lot of sitting around the main table discussing things. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. It’s a comfortable, honest way to run things. We’ve been in this part of Agra for some time and it feels like home. The tea is always hot and the work keeps us steady.
