Working from C 1711 in Sushant Lok Phase 1 is quite convenient for us. Gurgaon is a busy place, but this particular area feels a bit more manageable once you’re inside. We’ve set up our consulting practice here to be close to where things happen. The office isn't large. It’s just a few rooms where we handle our daily business. We have a lot of files and books around because that’s just the nature of consulting. You end up reading a lot. We don’t really do big meetings with lots of people; it’s usually just one or two visitors at a time sitting across the desk. The light in the afternoons is pretty good, which makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. We’ve got a routine that we stick to. Usually, the mornings are for catching up on emails and the afternoons are for the deeper work that requires more thinking. Being in Phase 1 means we’re near the main roads, which helps when we have to head out for site visits or errands. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. It’s a very straightforward way of running things. We like that we can just focus on the work without too many distractions from the outside world. It’s been our base for a while.
