Comverse Network Systems Pvt India Ltd is located in a bit of a different spot than most tech companies. We are at Murthy MG, care of Thimmappa Rice Mill. We are right near the Government Hospital in Kanekal, which is in the Anantapuram district of Andhra Pradesh. Being near a rice mill means it can be a bit dusty and loud during harvest times, but it’s where we are based. It’s a very local setup, and everyone in Kanekal knows the mill and the hospital, so we are easy to find. We work on network systems for the local area and beyond. It’s a small operation, and we don't have many of the luxuries you’d find in a city office. We have our equipment and a place to sit, and that’s about it. The weather gets very hot here, so we do our best with the fans running all day. Sometimes the power is a bit unreliable, but we have some backups to keep things moving. It’s a real, honest place to work. We know our neighbors and we’re part of the daily life here in the village area. It’s not fancy, but we take the work seriously and make sure the systems stay up for the people who rely on them. People often stop by just to say hello while they are heading to the hospital or the mill.
