Checkmateservices Pvt Ltd is based in Lajpat Nagar in Gurgaon, which is a pretty well-known spot in Haryana. Being in Gurgaon means everything moves fast, and there’s always a lot of pressure to keep up. Our office is right in the middle of it all. It’s not the biggest space, but we’ve managed to fit everyone in. The desks are usually a bit messy with notes and empty tea cups, and there’s always a printer humming in the background. We don’t have any of those fancy break rooms or bean bag chairs you see in some of the newer Gurgaon startups. We just have a small pantry and a lot of work to do. People in India know how busy this area can get, especially with the traffic during peak hours. We try to start early to beat the rush, but it doesn't always work out. Our team spends most of the day on the computer or talking to clients. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure people are where they need to be. We’ve been in Lajpat Nagar for a while now, so we’ve seen businesses come and go. We just stay focused on our own tasks and try to keep things simple. It’s a busy, loud, and sometimes stressful place, but it’s where we do our thing every day.
