At Baba Ramdev Building Material Suppliers, we spend most of our time at B-161 Mansrover Garden. If you come by, don't expect a shiny office. It's more of a yard filled with piles of bricks, bags of gray cement, and heaps of sand. Everything here is covered in a fine layer of dust, including our clothes and the old wooden desk where we keep the ledger. We’ve been in this part of Mansrover Garden for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change as people pull down old houses to build new ones. It’s hard work, and my back usually aches by the end of the day from helping with the loading. We don't have a big marketing team. Our business mostly comes from people who live nearby and see our trucks going in and out. The sound of the diesel engines and the clinking of bricks is what we hear all day. When it rains, things get messy, and we have to scramble to get the plastic covers over the cement so it doesn't harden. It’s a lot of physical labor, and we’re often out in the sun for hours. We keep things simple. We buy the stuff, store it here, and deliver it when someone is building something. Most of our customers are just local families or small contractors who need a few things at a time. It’s honest work, and we like being a part of how this area is growing.
