Pathankot is a different kind of place to run a business like Axis Risk Consulting. We are located at Hno 692 in Saingarh, Premnagar. It’s more of a residential-feeling area, which makes the office feel quite relaxed. You won't find us in a high-rise building. Instead, we work from this house address, and it works out just fine for the kind of consulting we do. Most people in the neighborhood know us by now. We spend our hours going through data and assessing risks for various projects. It’s a lot of reading and sitting at desks. The weather in Pathankot can get quite hot or very chilly, so we’re always messing with the fans or the heaters. We aren't a big corporate team with suits and ties. Usually, it's just us in comfortable clothes, drinking chai and looking at spreadsheets. The pace here is a bit slower than in the big metros, which suits our style. We don't rush through things. Risk assessment takes patience, and being in Premnagar gives us that. Sometimes a neighbor drops by to say hello, or we get stuck talking to the postman for a few minutes. It’s a simple setup, and we don’t feel the need to make it more complicated than it is. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay. It’s a practical place to work and live, and we like that the walk to get lunch isn't a major trek.
