Anand Cement Store

We run Anand Cement Store out of Wazirabad in Huda Sector 56. If you look for us, you will mostly see stacks of heavy bags and some construction dust. It is not the kind of place where you wear your best clothes. We spend our days loading cement bags onto trucks or helping people figure out how much they need for a small repair at home. The air is often a bit thick with the smell of concrete and earth. We have been here in Sector 56 for a while, and most of the local builders know where to find us. It’s a basic business. We have a small area for the desk and the rest is just storage for the bags. Sometimes the bags tear and we have to clean up the mess, which is just part of the routine. We don't have a website or anything like that. The dust is just part of the atmosphere in Wazirabad. We keep a broom handy, but it's hard to keep the floor totally clean when you're moving fifty bags a day. We don't use any fancy machinery for the loading, just our own strength. It's a tough way to make a living, but it's consistent. The weather in Wazirabad can be tough, especially when it rains and we have to keep things dry. We just focus on keeping enough stock so we don't run out.
