Our office is located at B 34 A in Sector 14, over in the Old DLF part of Gurgaon. It’s a bit different from the newer high-rise parts of the city. We like it here because it feels more established and less like a constant construction zone. The American Express India Pvt Ltd team here is small, and we’ve been at this address for a decent amount of time. Working out of Sector 14 means we are close to the main markets, which is handy when we need supplies or just a quick bite to eat. The building is straightforward, nothing too flashy or modern. We spend most of our hours sitting at the desks, going through records and managing the local workload. There's usually some noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. It's a very hands-on environment. Some of us have been with the company for years, while others are newer, but we all just pitch in. We handle a lot of the back-office stuff that people don't usually see. The light in the office is okay in the mornings, but we rely on the overheads by the afternoon. It’s a quiet, steady kind of place where the focus is just on getting through the day's pile of work without making a fuss. We keep it simple and just do the work.
