Alstom Projects India Limited

You can find us at 1387 Sector 17 C in Gurgaon. We are Alstom Projects India Limited, but don't expect a glass skyscraper. This is a residential street with trees and regular houses. Our office is one of those houses. It is a two-story place where we have set up our desks. Gurgaon can be a bit chaotic with all the new construction, but Sector 17 C is a bit more settled. We have a small garden area in the front that we don't really take care of as much as we should. Inside, it is just a bunch of guys working on project plans and keeping track of materials. There is usually a pot of tea going in the small kitchen. We have a few computers that are always humming. The walls are covered with charts and maps. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s not a shiny corporate office, but it gets the job done for us. We know most of the people on the street. It is a comfortable enough place to spend the day. We just focus on the engineering side and the logistics. It gets a bit dusty with all the wind around here, so we are always cleaning our screens. That is pretty much our daily life at the Gurgaon office.
