Aegis Bpo Services Ltd. As Customer Care Executive

We are based up in New Delhi, working as customer care executives for Aegis Bpo Services. It’s a big city and the office is usually buzzing with people talking on phones all day long. If you've ever been to a BPO in Delhi, you know how it is. There are rows of desks and headsets everywhere. We spend most of our time answering calls and trying to help people with whatever problems they are having. It can be tiring work because the calls never really stop coming in. We work in shifts, so some of us are here early in the morning while others stay late into the night. The building is just one of many in this part of Delhi. It gets very hot in the summer, so the air conditioning is always running. We have a small break room where we eat our tiffins and talk about things other than work for a few minutes. It's not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. The office has that specific smell of electronics and coffee that you find in places like this. We just try to get through our shift and do a decent job for the people on the other end of the line. There are many of us here, and everyone is just trying to get their work done so they can go home. It’s a busy, noisy environment but we are used to it by now. We just take it one call at a time.
