Our office is in the District Court in Gurgaon, specifically at C 53. If you’ve ever been to the court, you know it’s a hectic place. There are people everywhere and a lot of noise. Our little corner in C 53 is where we try to keep things in order. We have filing cabinets that are probably too full and desks covered in folders. Most of our day is spent reading through documents or heading over to the courtrooms for hearings. It’s a lot of waiting around sometimes, followed by a lot of rushing. We are just a group of people trying to keep up with the paperwork. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk. Usually, we are just focused on the next deadline or the next meeting. The air in the building can get a bit stuffy, so we try to step out when we can. We’ve been part of the Gurgaon court scene for a while. You get to know the other people working here after a bit. We don't have a big reception area with fancy chairs. It’s just a place to sit and talk about what needs to be filed. We do our work, drink a lot of tea, and try to make sense of the legal stuff. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do every day from morning until the court closes up.
